Thats me, little Tommy Mondello at about age 7. It was taken at 316 Simonson ave. How incredibly cute was I. So what happened? My Brad Pitt looks just disappeared!
Bill's still sucks!  Beautiful, isn't it! Long Live the Orchard
Check out the dates on these two babies! 1976 & 1979... Jethro Tull was my very first concert. Ronnie Gallo, John Newman & myself drank beers @ the Bridge Tavern, headed into the city and then took the # 7 train all the way to Shea.....what a nightmare!   I remember we had to mail in to get a ticket for that Who show. We were in the nose bleed section. This show was only months after Keith Moon died.
What can I say.....the VanName brook!  We were drawn to this wall each night like bees to honey. From pizza deliveries, and Frisbee Ultimate to quarts of beer and bottle rockets to the forehead! Pretty cool, huh?  I'll meet'cha at the brook!
This was the girls holding their own the night of Jeff's surprise party in the summer of '99!  It was at this party that the whole Orchard Inn / Neighborhood reunion thing was hatched. Boy that sign really gets around doesn't it?
This is for the stickball players. Remember those desperate runs for tennis balls at the last minute!  This store is no longer in business.
The three Mondello boy's...Husky, Small Fry & Stringbean!  (Tommy, Michael & Joey) Check out those black socks!  I think it's obvoious who made it to the dinner table first! How did i ever make it to first base!
Now look at those tuxedos baby!  Move over Soprano's, Port Richmond high school has arrived. This was taken at our prom in 1979!  Holy crap.....that was a long time ago!  And we still look just as good.... well maybe!
Left to right we have...
Joey Marsh... Gregg Ponciano... Jeff Perosi... Greg Perosi... Tommy Mondello
OH MY GOD.....it's the friggin wolfman!  That was me the day before I went into the Navy.  It was late 1981 on Simonson Ave. Well, at least the car looked cool!
It was Cary Gradante that gave me the idea for putting the website together, so his mug has to be included! That's him on the left & me far right. This shot was taken in early '83 during the Navy years at a bar on the island of Palma, off the cost of Spain. It's not just a job, it's all the beer you can drink too!!       Ahoy muthaf'er!
Take a guess on these two photo's.  These were taken inside
Pop's Candy store right next to the Orchard. Look out the window, do you see the Dakota Diner and the Silvestri's Gulf sign.  This was taken in 1985. Pretty cool huh?
